Welcome to Technawei Business. By using our application, you agree to the following terms:

1. Data & Privacy

Your data is stored locally on your device. If you choose to use the Google Drive Backup feature, the app will upload your database to your own private Google Drive storage. We do not access, share, or sell your business data.

2. Permissions

The app requires specific permissions to function correctly:

  • Internet: To sync with Google Drive.
  • Storage: To save your inventory and sales records locally.
  • Notifications: To send reminders for tasks, notes, and low-stock alerts.
  • Background Processing: To ensure your business data is synced with Google Drive/Supabase securely without interruption.
  • Photos/Media: To allow you to select and display your business logo on printed and PDF invoices.

4. Background Execution

The app may request to run in the background to provide timely reminders and ensure data integrity during backups. This may include requesting an exemption from battery optimization to prevent the system from killing essential background sync tasks.

3. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and their Google accounts used for backups.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information (e.g., Email for backup). The information that we request will be retained on your device and is not collected by us in any way.

Access to Photos and Media

Our application requests access to your device’s photo gallery specifically to allow you to select a Store Logo. This logo is used exclusively to customize the header of your printed receipts and PDF invoices. We do not upload, share, or store your photos on our servers; the image path is handled locally on your device within the app’s database.

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your data at any time by clearing the app data or deleting the backup folder from your Google Drive. If you wish to request account deletion, please contact us via the email below.
